And if I stopped this business every time someone said something mean to me or I felt bad or I felt like I was losing everything, I wouldn't have been in business more than a month.”

This week's WoW (Words of Wisdom) come from Kelly Cutrone, the bold, brassy, take-no-crap founder of the hugely successful fashion PR & branding firm, People's Revolution. She's also the author of two fantastic books, If You Have to Cry, Go Outside: And Other Things Your Mother Never Told You and Normal Gets You Nowhere.

Kelly is frank, flawed, and alternates between being enlightened and rather gritty–and it's because of this that she is relatable even amidst her notable success and fame. While her books are chock full of quotables, the quote above is actually from the first episode of an 8-episode television show, Kell On Earth, which followed the events at her public relations firm.
