As I have done with Fuzzwad, Jules, and Doyle, when one pet moves on to their Hamster Heaven, I adopt a new pet, not to replace the former one, but to be able to give another animal a very happy and safe home… you know, since I can, and I love to.
Since Oreo decided it was time to mosey on, (or, as Mike said so sweetly and correctly, “Maybe her spirit finally chewed through the top of the cage and into the outside world”), that opened up a space for someone new to come live with me.
Or, in this case, two someones. Two little brothers who, despite their different appearances, are really from the same litter of gerbils.
I proudly introduce you to… Grissom and Warrick!
