The Fab Four had their own pre-graduation celebration with our Final Fab Four Dinner on Saturday, May 13, 2006. Mike prepared the main dish, which was amazing. He also prepared a fabulous salad and Katie brought along her signature frosted brownies. I’m getting hungry all over again just remembering!

Mike got comfy in a recliner and I took the opportunity for a photo!
Katie and I toast to our completion of law school with some champagne, while Mike prefered his beer.
The signature self-portrait: Nate, Katie, Rissa, and Mike (who wanted to make sure he didn’t get cut out of the photo!)

Mike + beer = good times
Katie studies her Uno hand intensely, and Nate diverts his attention from his mittfull of cards by studying his root beer.
Mike strategizes about what to play to best secure his position in the Uno tournament.

Baby Bert wanted to get a picture with his favorite Mike.
Who’s the Uno Grand Champ? Oh yeah, that’d be ME! :)
Fiercely vying for second place, Mike plans his next move, and Nate keeps his poker face.
Out of the game, I occupy my time by taking pictures with Baby Bert.
Baby Bert likes to show his dominance over items (or people) by putting his foot on them. He decided to put the Uno deck in its place, so he’s putting his foot on the stack.
Katie had gotten some melty mints and set them on the table… then we’d all gotten up to have some dessert, and when we looked back, the way Bert was sitting relative to the melty mints made it look like… well, like Bert had left a Bert trail on the table. hehe (Yes, I’m six years old.)
Nate proudly displays his collection of Draw 4 cards. He should’ve had a big collection; he was holding like half the deck at one point!
Mike enjoys some quality time with Baby Bert, who will also be moving to Ossian with me soon.
After a brutal game of Yahtzee in which we all rolled more full houses than I’ve ever imagined possible (seriously; we should’ve counted, because it was a freakishly high number of full houses), Katie and I both wound up with the highest scores we’d ever gotten! I even got two yahtzees! Katie had one as well. Good way to end our Yahtzee tournament.
Uh-oh! Baby Bert got ahold of Mike’s beer! Baby Bert, put that back…
Nate waves to the camera
Captain Furious got to come out of his habitat for a while to visit, since he and the other rodents were getting ready to head to Ossian too. Here, he mosies around the yahtzee table and checks out the dice.
And here he visits Mike, and Mike takes a self-portrait to remember the occasion.
I like this photo for two reasons: 1) it’s a cute pic of Captain Furious, and 2) it looks like I’m wearing a tiny rainbow beanie with cow ears because of the cardboard cow behind me in the photo.
Katie ponders how much she’ll miss this awesome apartment when she heads to Carson City.
Nate reclines and Katie rests on the exercise ball.
Boolar graduates from law school too! He toasts the occasion with one of Mike’s beers.
Mike couldn’t resist a photo op with all the “babies”: Emmet the Cow, Baby Bert, Harry the Bear, and Boolar the Ape.
Captain Furious thinks he might take some photos too… but unfortunately for him, it was time for him to go back into his habitat, and for the Fab Four to call it a night. I am going to miss these Fab Four Dinner Nights so much!!
