#103: In today’s Corporate Finance class, Professor Morrisson finagled into the lesson and case dicussion the phrase, “You bet your sweet bippy.”* Twice. Without breaking stride.

#104: In response to a student’s cellular phone ringing in the middle of class, rather than going for the cliche lecture on politeness and appropriate use of electronic communication devices (which, let’s face it, the embarassed student already knew), Professor Morrisson proceeded to tell the tale of how he once got chased–and subsequently bitten–by a goose while jogging in St. Louis.

*bonus points for you 20-somethings that can immediately name (a) the television show source of that phrase, and (b) the hollywood mama who spoke that phrase while wearing a bikini that she, reportedly, can still wear some thirty-plus years later. And triple bonus points for you if you can name that Hollywood mama’s grandson. Yes, sadly, I can. I can actally even name the source of the grandson’s name. When someone finally comes out with a version of Jeopardy! that focuses solely on entertainment & pop trivia knowledge, I will be the next Ken Jennings. (Oh, and no googling allowed. Duh.)
