Progress! It’s a good thing.

Why yes, Virginia, there is an end in sight.

I’ve made big steps forward with this here website thing on the internets. Yay me. You can read about me, determine whether you and I would make a good working fit, and contact me with one of those high-falutin’ contact forms. Technology. Also a good thing.

Importing my posts from Typepad was a pleasantly-surprisingly-undramatic event. Whew. So now all of my Daily Struggles history is preserved right here for your reading enjoyment. Or for your total disregard. You know, whatever. I love the old blog name (http://dailystruggles.com) too much to give it up… but I really, really appreciate having all of my “stuff” all in one place here at marissabracke.com.

Still to come in the Website Renovation ‘09 Extravaganza: filling in the sidebar with some of my "where else you can find me" information, working on tweaking more of the site layout and appearance to give it a more "me" feel, bringing some new content to the blog, redoing the (waaaay too many) categories that came over from Typepad.

And introducing you to my beloved Vice Presidents of Customer Relations and Creative Napping. Oh yes. They’ve been insistent that they would not return to their jobs until I gave them a proper spot on my webpage, so really, I had no choice.

Nicely done, Marissa. Sure, I could have responded via email, but isn’t the fun of blogging that we can heap public praise on folks?

Also, the typepad category thing is crazy – but it’s just a relic of the ole’ we think about metadata contests between the engines. Now for the pain of deciding which few categories rule them all!
