The Main Idea: Be Respectful & Use Common Sense
There are two main policies: Be Respectful and Use Common Sense. These are the two main principles I try to abide by and that I ask you to abide by while you’re hanging out at my site. Pretty much everything comes back to one of those two ideas.
Affiliate Link Policy
Some of the links on my site are affiliate links. All that means is that if you click the link and then buy something, I’ll get a commission. That commission might be a few cents (as with Amazon book links), or it might be a percentage of the product price (many online entrepreneurs offer a 20%-50% commission to their affiliates).
But here’s the deal: I will never recommend a product or include an affiliate link solely because of the possibility of commission. I don’t do paid endorsements. I link to and recommend products that I believe in and support. If I include an affiliate link, it will be for a product or service that I would link to anyway, regardless of the possibility of commission.
It is my commitment to you that I will rave about and recommend only those products and services I actually use, love and want to share!
Comment Policy
- 1. Be respectful.
- 2. Use common sense.
- 3. The first two guidelines apply even if (perhaps especially if) you disagree with me or someone else. If you find yourself unable to comment using respect and common sense, it might be better in that instance not to comment.
- 4. Spam and spam-esque behavior is disrespectful and counter to common sense, so it fails on both counts.
- 5. I reserve the right to edit or remove any comments that run contrary to these guidelines.

Privacy Policy
I ask for your name and email address only if you:

Under no circumstances will I sell your information or share it with anyone else. I detest spam as much as you, and I will not contribute to it. Plus, I value your trust, and keeping your information private is a big part of honoring that trust.
I’m Marissa, can-do-ologist, perpetual Curious George, and daily adventurer.
