BOOLAR RESTS. MARISSA ORGANIZES. MUCH RADIO IS SUNG ALONG TO.

Yesterday’s cross-campus and crosstown excursions wore me out. I decided to kick back with the latest Enquirer and Star magazines (thanks to Marissa’s grandparents for those) while Marissa organized her computer desk and writing desk. And organized. And sang along to the radio. And organized. And organized. And sang along some more. And when she finished, then she organized some more. I ate a banana, napped, and read. (Okay, so I did sing along a little…”Jungle Boogie” and “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” get me groovin’.) I must say, when I woke up from my extended naptime, there were only two small boxes remaining in the whole apartment; like Marissa says, “Now I’m *really* home.” And, in a stroke of Marissa-ized decorating, the back of Marissa’s computer desk is now decorated with a large, grinning cardboard dachsund who is being ridden by George W. Bush. Folks, you can’t make that sort of thing up.

Tomorrow, I go book shopping. Spending exorbitant amounts of money on books I’ll soon loathe reading? I’m so THERE! Store opens at 9:00 a.m. Marissa will probably being dragging me up to the door at 6:00 a.m. just to make sure we’re there before they sell out of any books. (I say again, you cannot make that sort of thing up!)

On that note, I better head back to the big purple chair in the corner where I’ll wait for Marissa to tuck me in. It’s good to have humans around for that sort of thing.

Apefully yours,
Boolar The Ape
