“Dear Marissa, It is with great pleasure that I am writing this letter to you. All of us at [The Firm] are delighted to offer you an associate position with The Firm’s Litigation Department . . .”
In other words,
Not only will I have the job I fell in love with, but I’ll have health insurance, life insurance, and dental insurance . . . the firm will pay for all of my bar review and bar exam application fees and related expenses for the MPRE and the PMBR . . . the firm will even pay for moving expenses, meaning that all my relatives won’t have to come move all of my stuff out of my apartment in May; I can just call and have the firm arrange for professional movers to do it for us!
Am I on Cloud 9? No. Cloud 11, maybe. I’m just so happy, words fail to adequately convey. (And you know me; when even I find myself without the proper verbiage, you know it’s a strong emotion!)
