It’s up to each guest to guess which mat applies to them…
(the "Leave" mat was a gift from G.P., my dad’s dad)

Once inside, though, there’s no question about whether or not you’re welcome!

Hanging out and visiting

Ernie tends to get pretty tired trying to watch over every single guest…
Grandpa let him take a little rest with him.

I attempt an “armpit shot” but get a bit overlit…
but gee, I wonder where I get the urge to “ham it up” for the camera.
Any guesses?

The day was gorgeous, and the company was excellent. I had a great time with everyone, and I hope everyone else had as great a day as I did!

And kudos to Katie Peterson for her spinach chicken lasagna recipe–it was a HUGE hit!
