The Gal and I have traveled back to the ol’ homestead (Ossian!) for various family celebrations. M’s mom’s parents’ anniversary was yesterday. M’s brother’s birthday is the 19th, and her parents’ anniversary is the 21st. So, in a combo (but mostly focusing on the birthday) celebration, tomorrow the whole Ossian clan will convene for food and family time. M was ridiculously happy to see her two little dogs again. I don’t know why she misses them when she has me, but, that’s just the way she is. I would think they’re cute, but one of her dogs, Ernie, tends to enjoy jumping up on me and trying to pull my fur off with his teeth, and that just doesn’t feel so good.
